Boyfriend and I are regulars, I get dairy free pizza and he gets the buffalo chicken and it's always good! Only few places that offer dairy free pizza so it hits my pizza cravings! A lot of vegan options!

A bit of everything here. One they have a great selection of legit vegan options. And as a vegan who struggles to find decent food, this exceeds. Vegan pizza was amazing. The extra large meat pizza, not mine, was I am told fantastic!! What is true, is this is 100% no frills pizza place. But its clean, the staff are kind. So it all works. Especially for vegan food.

They have vegan options and lots of them which is more than I can say for most restaurants, including pizza shops, this includes vegan cheese and vegan meat substitutes. 5+ stars for an extensive selection of vegan options I knew when ordering from here that there must be some reason for the wide divide between high and low reviews, and I'm going to say that for me, the pizza dough was what took away from my inclination to give them 5 stars solely based on the wide variety of vegan and vegetarian friendly items. The dough is fine, I've had much worse (every Greek pizza place), but it wasn't amazing and I see what others were saying with their negative comments. If I was solely rating the pizza dough and not the fact that I love all of the vegan choices, I'd say it's probably a 3. It's just not amazing and memorable in a positive way for me. The sauce was adequate but also didn't leave me craving it. Takeout order was made promptly in the quoted time. Online ordering system was efficient and had a couple of new customer teaser coupons, but don't love that it adds on a $1 platform fee. Street parking isn't easy in this area, but luckily I came during an off hour and parking was available. I'm going to end by saying, they offer a niche you cannot find in many restaurants/ pizza places in the area, which is an extensive selection of veg friendly options and for this, I am inclined to round up any of my opinions. I wish more pizza places would do what they have done to have more veg/vegan friendly choices for customers.

We ordered the vegan meat lovers pizza, vegan garlic knots, and the vegan strawberry cheesecake. The cheesecake was small but SO creamy and delicious. The pizza was just perfect and so were the garlic knots! This is now our go to vegan pizza joint!

Catalina's is a no-frills pizza and sub shop tucked away off of Main St. in Malden. The cache for Catalina's is the abundance of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. From Impossible beef, sausage, chicken, and Beyond pepperoni, Catalina's can be creative when putting together combinations on pizzas, calzones, or sandwiches. Their strength lies with the sandwich menu, offering soft rolls with tasty toppings. The Impossible steak and cheese is a personal favorite and well-seasoned. I'm eager to try the Impossible chicken Parm next. Catalina's is far from perfect and their pizza is niche (a sweeter/spiced red sauce isn't for everyone), the internal dining space could be more inviting (this place does more takeout), and the parking can be dicy. That said, it's a gem for vegetarians and vegans alike looking for that comfort sandwich fix.

First off let's talk about taste. The food here is fresh and home cooked recipes clearly. It's given love and careful thought. The passion is there. Don't believe me? Try the samosas. Also they are so inexpensive. I would get two orders. The vegan options are large and taste amazing. They are working to add more and happily take feedback to better their menu. You want vegan, ask for vegan pizza cheese and enjoy the best pizza in the city. After a long day of skating and exercise this place is just the thing for ravenous hunger! The menu is massive and expanding daily it seems. If they have the ingredients, they will make it. Vegan chicken parm calzone/pizza? Done. Vegan meatball sub? Vegan buffalo chicken salad with vegan ranch? Yeah they got it. I love this place and you will too. Now excuse me while I get my vegan meatball sub and vegan cheesy breadsticks.

Ordered takeout for my coworkers for lunch just because and decided to try a new place. Catalina's was a big hit! I ordered a mix of different pastas, chicken wings, and potatoes wedges. The menu is really varied and pretty extensive. The food came on time, hot and well packaged with lots of condiments, sides and utensils. Everything looked like it was made fresh. The lasagnas and chicken alfredo with broccoli were a big hit but everything tasted delicious. The pictures on this help doesn't really reflect how good the food smelled or looked. I wished I took a picture! My coworkers raved about the food and everyone asked me where I ordered the food from. Now we have a new to-go place to order lunch from and I am so happy to support this small business! I want to try the subs, calzones and pizzas next time. Can't wait! I might even order this for dinner on those lazy days I don't want to cook. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
